please send in the permission slips for the march 4th trip to the belk theater. The trip is free, but i need to know asap if your student will need to order a bag lunch from our cafeteria.
English Language arts: Read for 30 minutes a day at home. We are studying character traits. students should take notes "jot" about the characters in their books. we will be reading the lion, the witch and the wardrobe by c.s. lewis in class. The cereal box project due date will be extended due to snow days.
math: We are leaning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. Have students identify real world uses for decimals (e.g. take a calculator to the grocery store and have students add up your items).
science: we are studying weather. The students will have to make vocabulary cards to study.
Students may use www.raz-kids.com and www.dreambox.com and www.brainpop.com at home to increase their skills and work at their own pace. all students were given a reading assignment in raz-kids to complete. They will be given time in class to work on it as well.
